Change the home layout#

1. Open Home feed in Administration.
2. Move rows using their up/down controls. The boundary row cannot move beyond the list.
3. Toggle each row On or Off.
4. Expand Section settings for its title, item limit and library scope.
5. Save the home layout and open the Media Center Home screen to confirm it.

The implemented rows are Movie of the day, Continue watching, Continue listening, Suggested movies, Suggested music and Recently added. These are configurable section titles, not separate libraries.

Per-section controls#

Section title accepts up to 60 characters. Maximum titles offers 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 or 24 where applicable. The featured Movie of the day row has one item. Use All libraries or selected permitted libraries to scope a row; a viewer's actual access policy is still applied afterward.

Movie/music recommendations use separate media signals, favorites, genres and listening/viewing activity. The featured selection is stable for the day rather than changing on every page load. Recommendations are selections from the accessible library, not an internet catalog or a promise of availability.

Continue listening is not recent activity#

The music row contains only unfinished positive resume positions below 90%. A finished track is removed even if it remains in listening history. Recent activity can still influence Suggested music without appearing as resumable content. Music resume explains replay behavior.

Recovery#

Re-enable a hidden row or move it back, then save. If all rows or all permitted libraries are empty, the Media Center shows its getting-started state. Do not create example media folders just to populate the home screen.
