Music & the branded disc

Your listening room#

Open Music, an album/artist page or a suggested item, then choose a track. The selected title, artist and album remain beside the player. The decorative disc uses the approved landing-page grooves, warm label, Lumio mark and Lumio Stream name. Existing album/artist artwork remains on appropriate browsing/detail surfaces.

Compact and expanded players#

The compact music bar keeps title, artist, transport, timeline and queue access available. Select its identity/artwork control to expand. The expanded player provides the disc, track details, seek control, transport, shuffle, repeat, volume and queue actions.

Only active playing rotates the disc. Pause, buffering, seeking, stop and ended states leave it paused; ordinary progress updates do not remount it. Reduced-motion preferences make the disc static. Collapsing or browser Back returns to browsing while the same audio element keeps its stream and position.

Smart shuffle for direct songs#

When you start a song directly without an explicit queue/playlist, enabling Shuffle keeps the current song and position, then continues with ranked unheard music from your accessible library. The existing genre/artist/favorite recommendation logic supplies ranking; it falls back across the remaining indexed library instead of stopping with the suggestion row.

A private completion record uses the 90% threshold. A brief start does not count as completion. Visited unheard songs are deferred while other unheard candidates remain; unfinished manually skipped songs are revisited before completed songs after the other unheard candidates have been visited. After eligible songs have been completed, selection continues randomly. New eligible tracks join future selection; missing/inaccessible files and failed playback candidates are skipped.

Manual direct song selection keeps smart mode enabled. Starting an explicit album/playlist queue or explicitly adding/reordering queue items takes control of that queue; its original shuffle behavior remains. Disable Shuffle to leave smart discovery. See queues and playlists.

Resume#

Positive progress below 90% appears in Continue listening. Play/resume starts from the saved point. An explicit restart/queue advance requesting time zero intentionally starts at the beginning. At 90%, the card is removed; history and favorites remain.
