LUMIO STREAM / MEDIA CENTER
Favorites, collections & actions
Use menus without changing source files.
Open a media menu#
Use More options for… on a card/list row. A supported touch long-press opens the same action menu. The menu fetches current item state and offers only relevant actions, rather than exposing every action for every media type.
Available actions#
- Play now starts a directly playable item.
- Add to queue adds an eligible item to the temporary queue, with duplicate entries disabled where detected.
- Add to playlist… opens saved music membership; it is distinct from the temporary queue.
- Collections… applies to suitable movie/series items and opens collection membership.
- Add to favorites / Remove from favorites changes your personal favorite flag.
- Remove from Continue Listening/Watching hides a resumable item from that row without deleting it.
- Open details returns to the item's full information.
Create and use collections#
Open Collections…, choose an existing collection or name a new one, then confirm membership. Browse saved collections from the sidebar. Movie franchise grouping can also use provider collection IDs when the administrator enabled that library option; this is different from the item's source folder path.
Permission and recovery#
Library policies still apply when opening a saved item by ID. A collection/playlist cannot grant access to otherwise forbidden media. Reverse favorite/membership changes using the same menu. For missing files or mistaken provider groupings, ask an administrator to inspect metadata and source structure; do not delete and recreate accounts to repair a collection.
The current app does not expose a universal source-file deletion or unrestricted public-sharing workflow in these menus.
