Home rows#
Home can show a daily featured film, Continue watching, Continue listening, Suggested movies, Suggested music and Recently added. Administrators can rename, reorder, scope or hide these sections. Each viewer still sees only permitted libraries. Empty sections are omitted rather than filled with invented titles.
Open a card to inspect its details. Its More options menu includes the applicable playback, favorite, queue, playlist/collection and continue-row actions. Favorites and listening/viewing signals influence suggestions; they are not shared as another user's personal history.
Continue listening#
The music row represents unfinished audio, not a list of everything recently started.
- Play a song and pause or stop before 90%.
- Its saved positive position is eligible for Continue listening. Progress is reported periodically while playing and on pause/stop.
- Open that track and press its resume/play control. Lumio uses the saved position.
- Once a report reaches 90% or more, the track is removed from Continue listening.
A fully completed track can remain in all-time listening history and influence suggestions. If you deliberately start it again and stop partway through, that new unfinished listen can appear again. A normal halfway resume does not reset merely because the engine marked the song Played on start.
Older audio positions that the previous engine already discarded cannot be reconstructed. The app does not invent a half-listened point. Accounts keep separate resume/completion records; deleted or newly inaccessible items are filtered through the current user's access checks.
Hide a continue item#
Open More options → Remove from Continue Listening/Watching where offered. This hides the card rather than deleting its media. Starting that item again clears its hide marker and allows a new unfinished session to appear. Music explains queue and direct-song behavior.
